I am a Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Chicago where I am also Associate Dean for Faculty Development in Medical Education. Clinically I am a pediatric hospitalist, and I would say I have equal love for PHM and medical education. I am interested in ways we can support on-the-ground clinical teachers in how they engage with learners, including optimizing the learning environment and innovating locally. In addition, I love mentoring and advocating for diversity and inclusion in medical education.
