I am the Associate Chair of Education for the Dept of Pediatrics at Stanford, having been a residency program director and PHM fellowship director in the past. I am currently the President of the Association of Pediatric Program Directors (APPD), the Research Committee Chair for the APA Educational Scholars Program, and am on the Steering Committee for the Advancing Pediatric Educator eXcellence (APEX) Program. My educational research interests focus on building a more diverse, inclusive and equitable learning environment and helping develop a sense of belonging, professional identity formation, and competence through longitudinal coaching and scholarly mentorship.
